Programs that Bring Nature to Your Classroom
Are you looking for presentations to support STEM instruction in your classroom? Rancho El Chorro Naturalists can present the following standards correlated programs at your school site:
Ocean Adventure: Ocean study including tidepool animals, marine mammals, birds, and seaweeds.
Power of Plants: Food, shelter, tools! Learn amazing things about plants and their uses.
Raptors: Introduction to birds of prey, their similarities and differences through interaction with live birds.
Reptiles and Amphibians: Introduction to reptiles and amphibians, their similarities and differences through interaction with live reptiles and amphibians.
- Available Monday through Fridays during school hours or for afterschool programs from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
- All presentations are 45 minutes in length.
- Minimum two classroom presentations per reservation, maximum of four presentations.Cost $130 per classroom (approximate 30 student limit)
